Section 1 - Starting Date
1.1 The first day of practice is determined by the Section.

1.2 Practices are not permitted on Sunday or Christmas Day.
Section 2 - Official Rules
2.1 The official rule book shall be the National Federation of State High School Association rule book.
Section 3 - Contacts
3.1 The number of contacts allowed is forty (40) matches per wrestler.
Section 4 - Meet Times
4.1 Weigh ins: from 5:00 to 5:30
Match: 6:00
Section 5 - Meet Results
5.1 The winning school shall be responsible to notify the media with game results.
Section 6 - Schedule and Roster Exchange
6.1 A meeting shall be called by the sports coordinator no later than one week prior to the start of league play.6.1.1 Rosters of all school teams shall be exchanged by the coaches at this meeting. Information to include players name, jersey number and year in school.6.1.2 Complete season schedules shall be exchanged by the coaches at this meeting.
6.2 Failure of a coach to submit a roster will result in forfeiture of all games played until the roster is turned into the sports coordinator.
Section 7 - Supplementary Personnel
7.1 Qualified persons shall keep the scorebook and operate the time clock at wrestling matches.
Section 8 - Championship
8.1 The team with the greatest number of wins in league dual meet competition shall be designated as League Champion. In the event of a tie, all teams tied for the best records shall be recognized as League Champions. No champion will be recognized below the varsity level.
8.2 Any tie in a dual match will be broken according to the tie breaker formula in the National Alliance Rule Book.
Section 9 - Conduct of Dual Meets
9.1 Scheduling of duals meets will be done on Wednesday nights whenever possible. If a conflict exists with a basketball game, dual meets may be scheduled on another night.
9.2 Competition will be held in two divisions, Varsity and Junior Varsity. Junior Varsity is open to all students, senior through freshman.
9.3 A team must have eligible athletes in seven (7) weight classes to participate in a dual meet. If a team does not have their required seven(7) they must forfeit. If a visiting team does not have wrestlers is seven (7) weight classes they must pay for the officials if they do not cancel at least 24hours before the scheduled meet.9.3.1 By mutual agreement a dual meet may be held with a team having less than seven (7) weight classes. The team still must forfeit the team win.
9.4 Junior varsity matches will consist of three (3) one and one half (1 1/2) minute rounds: Varsity matches shall consist of three (3) two (2) minute rounds.
Section 10 - Conduct of League Meet
10.1 Schools wishing to host the meet will submit a bid to the league representative. The league representative will select the host most capable of producing a quality event. In the event there are multiple bids from qualified schools, the event will be rotated.10.1.1 Any profit from the operation of the meet will be retained by the host school. Any loss incurred in the operation of the meet will be the responsibility of the host school.
10.2 A seeding meeting will be held at least one week prior to the League Meet at a time and place arranged by the host school.10.2.1 All entries will be submitted by their coaches at this meeting.10.2.2 When this meeting is over, no additional entries will be accepted. and only a sick or injured wrestler may be replaced. Revised May 14, 200110.2.3 Seedlings shall be determined by a vote of the coaches for each weight bracket and placed on a tournament form.
Revised May 14, 200110.2.4 All pertinent information about the conduct of the league meet will be presented to coaches at this meetings in writing, include weigh in times, match times, parking, locker facilities, admission prices, and any rules unique to this meet.
10.3 Competition will be held in two divisions, Varsity and Junior Varsity. Junior Varsity is open to all students, senior through freshman.
10.4 Scoring will include the first four (4) places.
Section 11 - Playoffs
11.1 The Section will determine the number of individual and team qualifiers from the league to advance to post season competition.11.1.1 Team ties for qualifying spots will be broken according to the criteria set forth in theNational Alliance Rule Book.
Section 12 - Miscellaneous - Activity Specific
12.1 Protective head gear is mandatory.
Section 13 - All Conference Selection
13.1 All-conference honors will be awarded to the individual champion of each weight division.
13.2 Type of Award: Medal - 1st through 4th Place; an All-Conference patch will be awarded to each individual champiopn

13.3 The host school shall be forward All-conference results to the league commissioner for distribution to the media.
13.4 No all conference team shall be selected below the varsity level.
