MINUTES
The minutes of the October Athletic Board meeting minutes, as posted on the league web 
site, were approved


WELCOME TO NEW LEAGUE MEMBERS
Mike Triolo Athletic Director from Antelope and Matt Winn Athletic Director 
from Cosumnes Oaks were welcomed as those schools officially became members of the CVC.


FINANCIAL REPORT	
The financial report was given by Al Hooker 


PUBLIC COMMENT	
No members of the public were present


CONSENT CALENDAR
The golf and swim schedules for 2008 were approved.  

There were some corrections necessary to the tennis schedule.  The schedule was 
adopted with the provision those corrections be made.

	

OLD BUSINESS							
	Each Athletic Director was assigned a schedule to be completed and 
presented to the Athletic Directors at the February meeting.


NEW BUSINESS 
The proposed tennis by law changes, proposed by the coaches, was passed unanimously 
as written. The proposal will go to a second reading at the April Athletic Board Meeting.

Multiple language and concept changes were made to the Appeal Process.  This item, 
with the changes will go to a second reading at the April meeting. Appeal Process 
- Exhibit #8

Proposal to Section to reimburse mileage for all playoff games was approved.  
The proposal will be forwarded to the Section.

Dale Lackey Scholarship nominations from the CVC will be selected by the Athletic 
Directors at the February meeting.  All documentation must accompany the nominations.  
One boy and one girl will be selected and forwarded to the Section.

Antelope questioned if there was a way to qualify for playoffs in football during 
the 2009 Season, without playing league games.

A River City football player was reinstated following an ejection when the official 
failed to file a specific report.


OTHER ITEMS	
	Volleyball co-championship pennant was awarded to Rio Linda
	A Baseball Pennant for a co-championship will be ordered for Dixon
	Wrestling Medals were distributed to Bill Lum
	Spring rule books were distributed to Athletic Directors
	Information for a directory for the Athletic Board was collected

	The March meeting was moved from the 18th to the 11th to avoid spring break.
