Section 1 - Starting Date
1.1 The first day of practice is determined by the Section.

Section 2 - Official Rules
2.1 The official rule book shall be the National Federation of State High School Association rule book.
Section 3 - Official Ball
3.1 The official ball shall be the Wilson A1010 or Diamond D-1. Any ball designated by the section for use in the Playoffs may be used. Game balls will be provided by the home team.
Section 4 - Contacts
4.1 The number of contacts allowed is determined by the Section.

4.2 A maximum of three (3) tournaments will be allowed.
4.3 A maximum of two scrimmages is permissible prior to the first game. Scrimmages held after the first game shall be counted as a contact.
Section 5 - Game Times
5.1 During Standard Time: 3:30 - During Day Light Saving Time: 4:00
Section 6 - Game Results
6.1 The winning school shall be responsible to notify the media with game results.
Section 7 - Change in Classification
7.1 During pre-league games athletes may move from one classification to another. In league play a player may move only to a higher classification. An athlete may not participate in more than one classification in one day.
Section 8 - Schedule and Roster Exchange
8.1 A meeting shall be called by the sports coordinator no later than one week prior to the start of league play.8.1.1 Rosters of all school teams shall be exchanged by the coaches at this meeting. Information to include players name, jersey number and year in school.8.1.2 Complete season schedules shall be exchanged by the coaches at this meeting
8.2 Failure of a coach to submit a roster will result in forfeiture of all games played until the roster is turned into the sports coordinator.
Section 9 - Championship
9.1 The varsity team with the greatest number of wins in league competition shall be designated as League Champion. In the event of a tie, all teams tied for the best records shall be recognized as League Champions. No champion will be recognized below the varsity level.
Section 10 - Playoffs
10.1 The number of teams qualifying for participation in the playoff shall be determined by the Section.
10.2 Tie Breakers10.2.1 Two way tie for first - 2 qualify for Playoffs10.2.1.1 The team with the best record in head to head competition will be awarded the higher seed.10.2.1.2 If head to head competition is equal, a coin flip will be held to determine the higher seed.10.2.2 Three way tie for first - 2 qualify for Playoffs.10.2.2.1 The team with the best record in head to head competition will be awarded the higher seed.10.2.2.2 If head to head competition is equal, a three way coin flip will be held to determine the higher seed. The “odd man” will advance to the playoffs as the number one seed. The two remaining teams will play a game at a neutral site to determine the qualifier.10.2.3 Three way tie for first - 3 qualify for Playoffs.10.2.3.1 The three teams will draw numbers from a hat to determine seeds.10.2.4 Two way tie for second, 2 qualify for playoffs.10.2.4.1 The two teams will play a game at a neutral site to determine the qualifier.10.2.5 Three way tie for second, 2 qualify for playoffs10.2.5.1 A three way coin flip will be held. “Odd man” will receive a bye, the remaining teams will play a game at 1:00 PM. The winner of the game will play another game at 4:00 PM with the bye team. Winner of the last game will advance to the playoffs.
Section 11 - Rain Outs, Ties and Suspended Games
11.1 The home team will cancel games by 12:00 Noon if the field is unplayable and as soon a possible in the case of inclement weather.
11.2 Rained out games shall be made up in the order of the original schedule. Both teams will play on the next day that neither team has a game scheduled, which includes Saturday. If transportation is a factor, the principals and/or Athletic Directors of the competing schools will resolve the issue.
revised 10/15/0211.2.1 Failure of either team to play will result in a forfeit.11.2.2 If the original site for a game is unplayable, the contest will be switched to the opponents field, providing that field is playable.

11.3 Suspended games shall be completed the next time the two teams meet. The suspended game shall be played first. If it is the last regularly scheduled game or if there are no remaining games between the schools, the game will be completed only if it has a bearing on the league championship or playoff berths.11.4Tied games shall be considered suspended games.11.3.1 Only players on the roster at the time a game was suspended may participate in the completion of that game. Players who were on the roster but are not academically eligible at the time of the make up may not participate.
Section 12 - Miscellaneous - Activity Specific
12.1 Unless inclement weather or a safety hazard exists, regularly scheduled games must be played on the date scheduled.
Section 13 - All Conference Selection
13.1 The baseball coordinator shall arrange a meeting for Monday evening following the completion of the league season . Coaches shall be informed of the meeting, time and location at least a week in advance. Notification shall be by phone or Email.

13.2 Schools will be awarded positions on the All Conference team in accordance to their finish in League competition. Each school will make their own determination as to who will be placed on the All Conference team. The number of positions shall be as follows:

13.3 Eighteen (18) players will be selected, including (1) MVP.13.3.1 Each of the eighteen (18) players selected shall receive an all conference patch and a certificate.13.4 A ballot shall be taken to name the MVP. Each school shall have one vote to name the MVP from those selected to be on the All-Conference team. A school may vote for its candidate. Only one (1) MVP shall be named.

13.5 Each school will receive two honorable mention positions.

13.6 All conference selections shall be forwarded to the league commissioner for distribution to the media.
13.7 No all conference team shall be selected below the varsity level.
