The Capital Valley Conference will award a pennant to the schools who earns the most points in the All-Sport Competition each year. That school will also host a perpetural trophy for that school year. The pennant and perpetual trophy will be presented to the principal of the winning school at the League BBQ in August.
Points are awarded for the place each team finishes in the CVC standings. One point will be given for fielding a team and one point for each team beaten in the league standings (8 teams for 2008-09). If a tie occurs, the total points for the places tied will be added and divided by the number of teams tied.
Points will be for varsity competition only.
